What the day includes

A day designed for practitioners
to unwind

The day is experiential and unhurried — built around arrival, connection, and exploration at your own pace.

01

Chef-Prepared Lunch

Globally inspired, plant-forward cuisine by Chef Stephen Lamborn. Seasonal, balanced, and carefully prepared to feel nourishing without being heavy. Dietary needs accommodated in advance.

Included for all
02

Practitioner Connection

Unhurried conversation with a small group of independent clinicians — chiropractors, acupuncturists, functional medicine practitioners, therapists, and others — exploring shared territory around physiology and regulation.

Included for all
03

Neurofeedback Session

Experience a neurofeedback session firsthand — supporting nervous system regulation and cognitive clarity. Many practitioners find that experiencing it firsthand shifts something in how they think about it.

Your choice
04

Microcirculation Optimization

A brief microcirculation optimization session supporting microvascular blood flow, oxygen delivery, and metabolic recovery. Experience it yourself and form your own clinical impression.

At your discretion

The clinical experiences are there by choice — yours alone. Come for the lunch, the company, and the land. Stay curious about the rest.

The Setting
Dragonfly Ranch — forested pond with sun reflection

Dragonfly Ranch

A private, forested property just outside Boulder. Quiet. Low-stimulation. Chosen for what it does to the body.

Time in forest environments does something measurable to the body — cortisol drops, heart rate settles, the nervous system finds its way back to itself. The setting is part of the design of the day, not a backdrop to it.

There is a pond. There are paths. There is space to be quiet, or to talk, or simply to notice that your body has begun to settle — before anything else has happened at all.

Practitioners often arrive in clinical mode and find, without trying, that the environment shifts something before the day officially begins. That is not accidental. It is the design.

How Your Colleagues Were Inspired

"I came for the lunch. I stayed for the conversation. I left thinking about physiology differently than I had in years."

— Chiropractor, Boulder

"The setting alone did something. I noticed I had stopped rushing before the first session even began."

— Acupuncturist, Denver

Your Host
LoriGrace Kochevar

LoriGrace Kochevar

M.S., L.P.C. · Licensed Clinician

Biology first. Then everything else.

LoriGrace Kochevar is a licensed clinician with over 35 years of experience at the intersection of neurobiology, trauma, and family systems. Her work centers on biology-first nervous system regulation and the design of environments that allow genuine restoration to emerge.

She founded Brighten the Brain as a clinical framework for learning and regulation, and developed Dragonfly Ranch as a land-based setting intentionally designed to support nervous system stabilization and physiological coherence.

This gathering grew out of a simple observation: practitioners need the experiences they regularly recommend for their clients. The lunch, the setting, and the optional clinical experiences are all designed with that in mind.

Who Attends

What draws people here is less a shared modality and more a shared orientation — that something foundational in physiology matters more than most frameworks acknowledge. That shared language becomes the beginning of something.

Functional & Integrative Clinicians

MDs, NDs, functional medicine practitioners working at the systems level. The physiology here deepens what you already do.

Neurological Chiropractors

You already think in nervous system terms. The neurofeedback session and the regulation conversation will speak your language immediately.

Acupuncturists & East Asian Medicine

Circulation, flow, and systemic balance are your native framework. Microcirculation physiology translates directly — and often surprisingly well.

Structural Bodyworkers

Rolfers, craniosacral practitioners, structural integrators. You work where tissue, fascia, and circulation intersect. This day is built on that understanding.

Therapists & Somatic Practitioners

Nervous system regulation is your clinical terrain. Come experience it from the physiology side — in a setting designed to demonstrate it.

The Depleted Clinician

You're a strong practitioner running on not enough. You refer clients to exactly this kind of environment. Come receive what you regularly prescribe.

For practitioners who want to continue the conversation, there is a monthly clinical roundtable and a growing community of clinicians thinking biology first. The Reset Day is simply where that begins.
